We are specialists in transversal gender management and we help organizations to incorporate the intersectional gender perspective in their internal management and in their products.


Atena Gender Consulting was born in January 2008 with the aim of responding to the difficulties encountered by technical operators in turning the theoretical discourse of gender equality into practice. Convert gender equality into policies, into services, into programs, into changes in the management system, into a new organizational or company culture.
We help find answers to the following questions: What does it mean to introduce the gender perspective in the design of a public policy? How can we be sure that our budget decisions have been gender sensitive? How can we apply successful experiences in other countries in our reality? Are there experiences of implementing the gender perspective in my field of intervention? How can I introduce changes in my daily work to ensure that I take the gender perspective into account?.
Research and especially training are key to being able to give these answers and offer the necessary tools to become active agents in favor of gender equality.
Atena Gender Consulting was born from Mònica Gelambí Torrell's desire to be able to work with public and private organizations to design tools that make it easier for us to work with an intersectional gender perspective and incorporate gender equality within administrations, companies or third sector organizations.
